Just the right amount of throw reduction. I actually get a little excited with anticipation each time I open the door. Boy was I wrong! I absolutely love the way my car feels now.

It made sense to me that a heavier knob would smooth things out, but I was worried that the reduced throw of the transmission adapter might magnify the problem I was feeling. I drive a 2015 Sportwagen TDI and have been less than impressed with the notchy feeling of a couple of the gear shifts on this car. This kit was super simple to install, and the shifts couldn't get any better. Much shorter throws and it feels very sturdy. Night and day difference, love the feeling.
